Christmas Lights Are Lit Up Across the UK, So Come Along And Celebrate!

The endlessly fascinating British Christmas season sparks surprises every year with a magnificent lighting ceremony! 

Whether it's London, Manchester or Edinburgh, the whole country is in the mood for a magical Christmas season. As we enter November, the cities and streets of the UK come alive with this exciting lighting ceremony that brings the whole country to life! Let's take a look!

1. Oxford Street Christmas Lighting, London

(November 2 to January 2024)

This is the 63rd year that Oxford Street in London has been lit up for the Christmas season, and it will continue last year's theme of "Stars in the Sky"! This year, Oxford Street will hold its 63rd Christmas Lighting, continuing last year's theme of "Stars in the Sky"! 5,000 hanging stars will be illuminated, and the falling stars will be intertwined with each other, making for a truly star-filled sky that will make every time you look up a very romantic experience.

2. London Regent Street Christmas Lighting

(November 9 to early January 2024)

Regent Street as early as 1954 is the first area of central London to install festive lights, this year's Christmas lighting theme is still "Christmas spirit", from Oxford Circus to Piccadilly Circus, hanging Christmas lights along the way. All the way from Oxford Circus to Piccadilly Circus, all hung with Christmas lights, the most classic is the angel lights, stretching wings across the street on both sides, look solemn, elegant posture.

3. Rock fashion street Christmas lights

(November 2 to early January 2024)

Carnaby Street is located in London Soho area of a famous shopping street, near Oxford Street and Regent Street. The style of clothing on this street is mostly linked to punk rock, with a strong personality but also contains a strong British flavor. This year's Christmas lighting is themed 'Carnaby Universe', with bright neon lights covering the whole street.

4. Covent Garden Christmas Lights

(November 7 to early January 2024)

From November 7, Covent Garden will be lighting up their festive decorations, and this year it's even bigger than last year, with 140,000 lights illuminating the whole of Covent Garden. As part of this year's new decorations there will also be 40 large bells with red bows, 12 giant baubles and 8 mirror balls to fill the Market House with cheer.
